AnnexHub FAQ
The questions corporate organisers actually ask us before signing off on a platform.

These are the questions corporate organisers ask us before signing off on a platform, answered directly. If yours is not here, the fastest route to a real answer is the quote form - it reaches the team who would run your event, not a support queue.
What does AnnexHub do?
AnnexHub is an event management platform for corporate organisers. It handles the registration page, QR tickets, attendee data, and check-in at the door - plus speakers, agenda, sponsors, email campaigns and post-event reporting. It is built and run by Annex Creative Solutions, a corporate events agency in Malaysia, which is why it is shaped around how corporate events actually run rather than around ticket sales.
How much does AnnexHub cost?
AnnexHub is licensed per event, not per seat per month. There is a free tier for one live event up to 50 guests. Self-serve starts at RM890 per event and covers up to 500 guests with white-labelled tickets and emails. Done-for-you starts at RM2,500 per event, covers up to 1,000 guests, and includes our team building the event with you. Managed covers 5,000+ guests with an on-site crew, badge printing, SSO and an SLA, and is quoted per event.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. One live event at a time, up to 50 guests, with a registration page, QR tickets and door check-in. Tickets carry AnnexHub branding on the free tier. It is a real working tier, not a time-limited trial - you can run a small event on it.
Does check-in work without internet?
Yes. The check-in app is a progressive web app with an offline scan queue. If venue wifi drops mid-event, scans are stored on the device and synced when the connection returns, so the door never stops. This matters more than it sounds: hotel ballroom wifi is the single most common thing that goes wrong on event day in Malaysia.
What happens if someone scans the same ticket twice?
The app tells the person on the door that the guest already checked in earlier, and does not double-count them. Duplicate scans are a normal part of a busy door - a guest re-presents their phone, or two lanes scan the same group - so they are handled as a routine case rather than an error.
Can we handle walk-ins who never registered?
Yes. The staff app has a walk-in flow that registers a guest and checks them in on the spot, so they land in the same attendee list as everyone else. Corporate events almost always have walk-ins - a director brings two colleagues who were never on the list - and treating them as an exception is what breaks the headcount.
Can we white-label the tickets and emails?
From Self-serve upwards, yes: tickets, emails and the sending address carry your brand. The free tier keeps AnnexHub branding. A fully custom domain and SSO are Managed-tier features.
Can we sell paid tickets?
Yes, paid ticketing is supported with card payments at registration and multiple ticket types. It is switched on per account - mention it when you request a quote. Many corporate events on AnnexHub are free-to-attend and never touch it.
What currency will we be invoiced in?
Malaysian Ringgit. Prices can be displayed in MYR, SGD or USD for comparison, but those conversions are indicative - your quote confirms the exact amount. Corporate clients usually pay by invoice or bank transfer, and we handle the paperwork with your finance team.
How many people can attend an event on AnnexHub?
The guest cap depends on the tier: 50 on Free, 500 on Self-serve, 1,000 on Done-for-you, and 5,000 or more on Managed. The caps are enforced by the platform, not just advertised, so pick the tier that covers your actual headcount plus a margin for walk-ins.
Do you help run the event, or is it just software?
Both, and that is the main thing that separates the tiers. On Free and Self-serve you build the event yourself. On Done-for-you our team sets the whole event up with you and stays reachable through event day. On Managed we bring an on-site check-in crew and badge printing to the venue. You are paying for our time, not for extra features - the software underneath is the same.
How long does it take to set up an event?
A straightforward event - registration page, one or two ticket types, a branded confirmation email - is a same-day job on Self-serve. Events with approval workflows, multiple sessions with capacity limits, or a custom kiosk take longer, which is when most teams move to Done-for-you and hand the build to us.
Try it on a real event
The free tier covers one live event up to 50 guests.
Registration page, QR tickets and door check-in, including the offline scan queue. Enough to test the door properly before you commit to anything.
